Hiding in plain site, Point of View is a series of bus bench billboards that employ the “Thatcher Effect,” an optical illusion that highlights how easily the eyes can be deceived and the brain can incorrectly process visual information. Initially, there seems to be nothing conspicuous about the image, besides its orientation. The illusion is revealed when a viewer shifts their perspective, and is able to detect the distortions present in the inverted faces.
